Dr. Woster has directed 12 Ph.D. dissertations and 4 Master's theses, and has mentored 11 postdoctoral associates. To date, he has authored more than 120 articles in peer-reviewed research journals, 120 research abstracts and 15 patent applications. He is a frequent invited speaker, both nationally and internationally, and has organized a number of scientific conferences, including the 2009 Gordon Research Conference and Graduate Research Seminar on Polyamines, and the 34th National Medicinal Chemistry Symposium. Dr. Woster has served as a member of many NIH study sections and other grant review panels, and serves on editorial boards or as a reviewer for numerous scientific journals. He has also been an active member of American Chemical Society (ACS), and has served as an officer in the Division of Medicinal Chemistry for 21 years.
